These mugs are not recommended for the dishwasher and should be handwashed. The concept is nice and the prints are eye catching, but the product truly falls short. This is made cheaply and does not last even with hand washing. They either need to dramatically improve quality or cut the price in half.

If you love the one you are buying, then get two. They do not last long and you will need a back up! With daily use and handwashing my interior went bad in 3 months and the top plastic is not holding up at 4 months. Cute item, but not one of Lilly's best.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my mug and get tons of compliments. The only problem is my friend submerged it in water while washing it and it now has condensation in it. I am buying my second mug because it brightens my day so much.

Purchased one for my daughter in September and she loved it. It has never been in the dishwasher - only hand washed! She uses it almost daily and by December the interior print has started to fade/run. I am sure it had to do with condensation in between the two walls, but with only a few months usage? Not good. Product definitely needs to be improved a bit. It is an adorable gift, but just not a solid product IMO.

Very pretty and fun, but not dishwasher safe. A big bummer, especially when wanting to sanatize after having milk or cream in your coffee.
